Paramedic Emergency Medical Services Green Team: Marc Bilz, Amy Rogers
Most of us are familiar with the principal that when camping or hiking, we tread lightly, pack out what we pack in, and leave where we've been much as it was before we came, or better.
We can use these same principals in our workplace. How can we reduce, reuse, recycle and minimize our impact on the planet? There is so much waste in EMS it should be easy to find ways to make some changes and improve the way we do things.
Our focus is Toronto and GTA EMS, but this blog is open to all who have an interest in EMS "green" issues. If you are a paramedic from outside Toronto we encourage you to join, share your views and let us know what is being done in your service to make it more green.
